Equal opportunity statement
Effective October 9, 2026
DiasporaJobs connects employers with the experience diaspora professionals bring. That purpose rests on fair, lawful hiring, and every listing must reflect it.
What diaspora-focused listings may ask for
Listings may describe skills and knowledge that matter for the work, such as fluency in a language, experience in a country or region, cultural and market knowledge, or relationships with particular communities.
What listings may never do
Listings may not limit, prefer, or exclude applicants on the basis of national origin, ancestry, race, ethnicity, color, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other characteristic protected by law, except where the law expressly allows it. Citizenship or work-authorization requirements may appear only where the law requires them for the role.
How we enforce it
Our review checks every listing before it publishes, and we decline or remove listings that don’t meet this standard. Employers remain responsible for complying with the laws that apply to their hiring, as set out in our terms of use.
Report a concern
If a listing or an employer’s conduct seems discriminatory or unsafe, email jobs@thediasporaacademy.com with a link to the listing. We review every report.
